How to rotate PDF pages and save them
- Select or drop your PDF.
- Choose the rotation: 90° clockwise, 180° or 90° counter-clockwise.
- Choose all pages, odd pages, even pages or specific pages, such as 2, 5-7.
- Select Rotate PDF and download the rotated file. To combine it with other documents, use Merge PDF.

How do I rotate a PDF and save it permanently?
Choose the PDF, pick the angle and the pages, then select Rotate PDF and download the result. The new orientation is stored in the file itself, so it opens the right way up in Adobe Reader, Chrome, phones and printers.
How do I rotate only one page of a PDF?
Under “Pages to rotate”, choose Specific pages and type the page number, for example 3. You can also list several pages and ranges, such as 1, 4-6. All other pages stay as they are.
How do I change a PDF from landscape to portrait?
Rotate the pages by 90°. Choose clockwise or counter-clockwise depending on which way the text is facing; if a page ends up upside down, rotate that result by 180°.
How do I rotate a PDF 180 degrees?
Choose 180° as the rotation and select Rotate PDF. This turns upside-down pages the right way up, which often happens when a document is scanned the wrong way round.
Does rotating a PDF reduce its quality?
No. Only each page’s rotation setting changes. Text, images, links and form fields are kept exactly as they were, and the file size stays almost the same.
Why does my scanned PDF open sideways?
Scanners and phone scanning apps sometimes save pages in the direction the paper was fed in. Rotate those pages here and save the file. If you are making a PDF from photos, you can also fix the order in Image to PDF before converting.
Can I rotate a PDF without Adobe Acrobat?

Can I rotate a password-protected PDF?
No. Remove the password in a PDF reader first. The tool tells you if a file is locked.
